Hello! My name is Suzanne Evans, and I am the Director of Exceptional Needs for Clinton-Carroll Joint Services Cooperative. This school year marks my 20th year serving students with exceptional needs, and I am honored to continue this work alongside the schools, staff, students, and families of Clinton and Carroll counties.
The Clinton-Carroll Joint Services (CCJS) offices are housed at Rossville Schools. Our cooperative provides services and support to five school corporations across Clinton and Carroll counties: Rossville School Corporation, Clinton Central School Corporation, Clinton Prairie School Corporation, Carroll Consolidated Schools, and Delphi Community Schools.
Clinton-Carroll Joint Services is a full-service special education cooperative serving children and young adults ages 3 through 21. Our team includes school psychologists, educational diagnosticians, educational consultants, physical therapists, and Blind/Low Vision and Deaf/Hard of Hearing personnel who provide specialized services and support throughout the schools we serve.
Our team provides special education evaluations, IEP development and support, Section 504 guidance, related services, professional development, technical assistance, and ongoing support to school personnel, students, and families. We assist our member school corporations with IEP development and implementation, special education compliance, Section 504 procedures and accommodations, and individualized educational programming to help ensure students with disabilities have appropriate access to educational opportunities, services, and supports.
In addition to conducting assessments and evaluations, our team members collaborate with school professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide therapy and intervention strategies, support students and families, and create positive and inclusive learning environments that promote student success.
Our staff is excited to serve the schools, staff, families, and students of Clinton and Carroll counties. We value the strong partnerships we have with each of our school corporations and believe collaboration is essential to meeting each student's individual needs.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the services, resources, and supports Clinton-Carroll Joint Services provides to our schools, students, and families. We look forward to another successful school year and to continuing our commitment to supporting students, empowering educators, and partnering with families.
